Cubic traditionally recruited via recruitment consultants. They approached us to explore alternative, more cost-effective options as they were finding the consultants' fee structure too expensive. To reduce their reliance on recruitment consultants and the large fees attached, we suggested implementing a recruitment website.

The website includes full details on the company, what it is like to work there, case studies, as well as a full list and details of vacancies. Using this site, Cubic can now place small but striking and creative adverts in trade, local, national press or on job boards to drive traffic to the site where candidates can find out more. This allows the cost per recruit to be massively reduced. The first vacancy recruited via the site was a senior procurement role, which if placed via recruitment consultants would have carried a fee of the same cost of the whole website build. Therefore the site effectively paid for itself in one placement and continues to reduce cost per hire on future and current vacancies.
